- Once upon a time, on a whim, I signed up for a 24 hour writing contest. I spun a yarn for that contest and immensely enjoyed telling a story. I kept the story and , one day, on a whim (again), decided I would keep on going. So I am. Even if for an audience of one (me), I like the story and find the effort of being originally creative very satisfying.
